After moving into my new apartment, I decided to keep a few old laptops that were given to me by my old boss. Since I never had time to see what I could do with them, I threw away most of the pieces after de-soldering as many components as I could to keep for future projects. The most important component to keep is definitely the LCD screen. I recently bought a controller board for LCDs on Ebay, but it would be costly to spend $30 for every screen I have. So, here I am, trying to figure out how I can hack common LCD screens that might be lying around, including laptop and TFT screens. Going to edit this post when I have some more insightful teachings.
